20 week visit!

We had our 20 week visit at the doctor's office yesterday which was quite different than we expected. We were expecting to have a thorough ultrasound with the specialist and both of our mommas took off work early to be there with Chris and I. Well, when we got there the nurse said "No, you're not having an ultrasound today...we will schedule your ultrasound for tomorrow or next Wednesday with the ultrasound specialist." So, needless to say, we were all a bit disappointed because we have been so excited to find out the gender of our sweet little baby! So, the doc went ahead and did a "quickie" ultrasound, especially since our moms were there, to look around and see if he could see anything regarding the gender of the baby. He said he was 90%-95% sure it was a GIRL even though the legs were closed and the umbilical cord was in the way. So, this is us before going into the hospital for the appointment.

And then here are a couple pictures I took in my pj's the other day to show how much my bebe bump has grown since the last pictures at 16 weeks! Look, I already have that line underneath my bellybutton!!!



We are going back tonight 7:30pm to have our "thorough" ultrasound and to confirm that it's a GIRL! We'll let everyone know tomorrow and of course we will take the progression pictures with the black backdrop...LOL
