My first day back to work

As all of you mothers out there know, the first day back to work after being off after having a baby is one of the hardest days ever! Mine wasn't too bad though only because Chris, my wonderful husband, surprised me and brought Ella Bear up to my work and they took me to lunch! I know most of you are thinking ok...no biggie but since I work so far from our house it was a big deal because it's quite a drive especially in traffic and it was Chris' first time to take her out by himself...just daddy and his baby girl! I have several little "RUSS" stuffed animals that various people gave me a while back and I have passed them down to Ella. Well, Chris got one of them out of her basket to watch over her while they came to surprise me...see the back of the little animal in the picture below. So sweet!

This was at lunch on Thursday...

I couldn't help but get a picture of this...Ella was taking a nap on my lap while I was working on her baby book and Sofie was taking a nap next to us with her paws up in the air. She only woke up for a second here because she heard Chris stirring around to take the picture. Cute huh!
