We've been busy...what's new...watching Ella Bear grow! She's got 4 visible teeth now (top two and two bottom) and lots of others trying to come in including her molars. She's talking up a storm...still says "hi" all the time which we can't get enough of. When we ask her a question she says "huh" and will keep saying that with every question asked thereafter. She knows where her belly, toes, feet, eyes, ears, mouth, teeth and nose are and of course she knows where momma and dada are :-). She amazes us daily with what she knows! Yesterday, we asked her where her brush was and Chris asked her if it was under the couch so she bent down on the ground and looked under the couch! She has been walking for a couple weeks now and cruises through the house like she's been walking for years. Of course she still falls down but she's getting better and better every day. Her Aunt Jojo taught her to say "hola" and we are working on "I love you" She imitates one of her little toys (pinkie pie) and says la la la la. She had spaghetti for the for time last week and fish too. She didn't quite like the fish so I mixed it in with some lentils and she did just fine. We made strawberry, banana & mango buckwheat pancakes a couple weekends ago and she tore those up! I swear she inhaled them!
Her daddy took her to her 15 month check-up appointment and she is 19lb. 14oz. and 29 1/4" tall. Dr. Salem says she is doing great and is perfect...we already knew that...LOL Just kidding...but I'm serious! ;-)
We have almost finished her room now! I know...we've been in our new house for 7 months now but hey, we figured if it takes us about 7 months to finish each room, then we'll have it just the way we want it in about 5 years. Sounds about right. We hung her new blinds, her curtains, her mirror, all new outlets, light switches and covers and put her new 6 drawer chest in there too. Unfortunately, we will have to take that back because the back part was not installed correctly and the side molding came off! We were a little disappointed especially after what it took getting that heavy thing up the stairs!
Alright, let's get on with the pictures...Chris and I were playing with Ella Bear outside a couple weeks ago...

My sweet little Sofia at Marsha's baby shower...doesn't she look so preciuos in her glasses!

Marsha's baby shower was at The St. Regis Hotel in the tea room.
It was really fun and different and a great experience! We had wonderful tea, yummy sandwiches and scones with homemade cream flown in from England! I gained a good 5lbs. from that small meal! LOL Marsha is set to have their baby girl in the middle of February and we can't wait to meet her and hold her!

Grandma and Sofia...looking all beautiful!

I made Ella some buckwheat banana waffles with agave nectar syrup a couple weeks ago and she loved those too! So did I!

These pics are back from New Years day and New Years Eve...Sweet little Roman sitting still for a sec watching TV.

"Big E" Ethan on New Years Day...we matched!

New Years Eve our families came over and we had a big pot of black beans compliments of Momma & Poppa Lowry and played games until about 2:30am! Ella had a fever that night which always makes me sad! It finally broke right before we went to bed. Pawpaw and Ella...

Jojo rolling the dice for pictionary...

Grandma cracking up because Jojo was posing for the picture...

Grandma and Ella on Christmas day...

Here are some of my favorites from Christmas morning at our house. We wrapped a big box full of tissue paper just for Ella since she loves it! Once she opened it and started pulling paper out we put her in the box and she started playing "jack-in-the-box" It was so freaking cute! She would pop out with a huge smile just like this one!

This one is my favorite from all of the ones with her new chair!

She knew just what to do and how to get in it and rock!

Our new stockings...

She got a guitar from Santa so she could play with her daddy!

This year our tree did not have a star or angel on top...I broke the one we bought and couldn't find another that we liked so we'll have to find one next year.

This year Santa got Turtles and Forrero Rocher chocolates and milk. I think he liked them!

This was Christmas eve visiting with The Whitchers (Alan's parents). They bought us a waffles maker!!! The one that I made Ella's banana waffles with!!!

Alan's sweet parents! We always love going over there to visit when Alan comes into town from NYC!

Grandma and Pawpaw lovin on Ella Bear.

This was a couple days before Christmas at Jo and Clay's house for the Wheeler Family's Christmas. Jo and Clay were in town from Africa and she asked us to come over and for me to get a couple pics of her and her family. They had tons of toys and Ella didn't hesitate to play with them!

Dubby and Ella.

More bath time pictures of Ella Bear...She is telling me hi here like she hadn't seen me in a while or something...LOL Maybe she was telling the camera hi.

This is what Ella does when we ask her, "Where is Ella?"

The fireworks, on the beach, after the wedding in Costa Rica...
Terry took the following pictures and sent them to me...

Us before the wedding....it was so freaking hot! Can you see the sweat on our faces?

The boys at the rehearsal dinner.

Ella is tracking at the same growth as Karsyn...expect Ella to be in the same size for about a year...Karsyn is still in size 2T and some of her 18-24 month shirts STILL fit (and she is 3 1/2 years old)! I love little girls...they are just so cute!!
