Let's start off with a sweet picture of Granny and Parker...love that little face!
 |
OK so these pics go back to the end of July...it's been a busy and hectic couple months! :-)
These pics are from my cousin Kevin's graduation party (from UT). |
 |
| This picture cracks me up! Their faces are so funny including Poppa's! |
 |
| Ella and Poppa |
 |
| These glasses went around to all the kiddos...Parker and Joanna. |
 |
| love this pic! |
 |
| Love my big easy! |
 |
| Charlie and Ella |
 |
| Ella face cracks me up! |
 |
| Everytime Chris walks in front of the fan, Parker looses his breath and laughs. |
 |
| Some is ready for football season! This pitcher is like a football with the laces and textue. |
 |
| Ella coloring in her coloring book. |
 |
| Bubba bear just can't stay awake to finish dinner. |
 |
Several weeks back Chris made a cheescake from scratch for the first time.
It was FABULOUS! |
 |
We go to the park about 3 times a week when it's not raining ashes outside at least.
They love to swing, in fact Ella rarely plays on anything else. |
 |
| I get this face a lot...lol |
 |
I could take pictures of Ella and Parker every day!
I have the best subjects in the world! |
 |
| They make me smile almost every second of the day! |
 |
Love these outtakes!
Gonna make a story board with them to hang in our house! |
 |
Ella, Parker and I went to the park so that I could take their 1 year and 3 year pictures
and let me tell you, we got D-I-R-T-Y! I was rolling in the sand/dirt taking pictures of them while
they played in the dirt and of course we were soaking wet because it was hot as heck out there! |
 |
It is way harder to catch a shot of Parker than Ella
because he is as quick as lightning! |

 |
So, a little about Parker...he still weighs in the 16 lb. range and is eating really good finally!
He loves pears, peas, butternut squash and broccoli the best so far.
He just had chicken for the first time this week and seems to like it too.
He loves to push things around on the floor whether it be a truck or whatever
will scoot across the floor or the concrete outside.
He can pull up on anything! The boy has this amazing upper body
strength! Chris was trying to pull him off of the top of the couch the other
day and he was using all his strength to pull him off and it took him a couple tries!
He is still very much a momma's boy but loves seeing daddy especially when he gets
home every day from work! He reaches out his hand like he is waving at him and
then wants him to pick him up. He gets so excited! He loves playing on the floor with
him and crawls all over him.
He clapped his hands for the fist time on 8/13 saturday morning
after seeing Ella clapping her hands and now he does it all the time
when Ella claps her hands, when he hears certain songs and when
he hears music.
He loves to try and feed us his puffs.
He has been sleeping through the night more but still not consistently.
It's so weird because when he does sleep through the night it's like from
10-7 which is a good 9 hours! And then sometimes he wakes up every couple
of hours...there's just no pattern here but I'm being patient and praying
that he'll start to sleep though the night every night very soon so momma
can get some good uninterrupted sleep :-)
He calls up to Ella when she's upstairs and he is downstairs.
He says, "Ella!" and she says, "I'm right here, Parker!"
It's so cute because she can tell that he is saying her name!
Chris does the same thing because he says dada all the time.
No momma yet...
He stands by himself for a long time and has taken two steps
but hasn't taken the full plunge yet.
He is so so so sweet but boy does he get upset and pout when he
doesn't get his way.
Can't believe he is going to be 1 years old in a month!
Makes me cry!
I love him! |
 |
We recently went over to my Aunt Doris' house for a visit and for Ella o=to see the horses,
which we were both kindof apprehensive about.
This is Hawk...he loves jumping in to the lake to fetch his stick! |
 |
| Ella holding the back of carrots waiting to feed the horses. |
 |
This little stinker...let me tell you...
She started sleeping in her big girl bed (toddler bed with the rail)
and most nights she stays in bed but some nights she comes downstairs and gets in bed with us
shortly after she gets in her bed. She figured out how to open the upstairs gate so she can get
out anytime.
She loves for Chris to swing her in circles,
play catch and they love to just sit and chat together.
She's my little grocery store or errand running partner.
Anytime I go anywhere, she wants to go and the couple times I have
gone to the store without her, I miss her there with me!
Some things she says lately...
"I like you" always out of the blue.
"NO" a lot right now!
"just a lil bit" (like "Mommy, I just need a lil bit of ice" or
sometimes it doesn't even make a whole lota sense,
"I wanna go help you just a lil bit."
The things she says are so freaking smart and we are totally amazed
at her intellect each and every day.
Not to mention her sweet little heart! |

Charlie horse.
Hope everyone has a great week and pray for rain!!!
God Bless!
