Love our babies!

Yep, you got it, lots of pictures again!
If I could just post once a week
then there wouldn't be so many
pics each post.  Easier said than done though.

These first few go way back to sometime
before Halloween when we went to a pumpkin patch
over by our house at a church...

Now on to some of my favorite bath pics ever!

Ella has an array of faces she makes...you should know where she gets that.

This is one of the faces we get when we tell Peanut to show us his teeth...
or smile...

Drinking the bath water...nice.

Ella's gingerbread house.
Ella made ornaments for Granny and Poppa and
Grandma and Pawpaw this year...thank you pinterest!

And of course one for us to hang on our tree!

Our Christmas tree

Ella helped me make cookies for Santa this year
and did a fantastic job!!!

Love this picture of Ella and Ethan at Granny and Poppa's
for our Christmas Eve celebration.

Christmas Eve at our house like at midnight or something crazy!
Finally got to put present out.
Notice our ornaments on the tree
are only on the top half...
Parker and Ella pulled most of them off. :-)

Parker's new chair just like his sister's!

He knew just what to do.

The bilibo...fun toy!

Finally got to hang our stockings too
(The night before Christmas)
Since Parker liked to pull them down.
Maybe next year, I'll get to hang them
earlier than Christmas eve. :-)

Parker liked
Ella's new
Plasma car!

Ella got a ukelayle

We tried re-creating the moment with Ella when she was 1 years old
and popped up and down in the big box but Parker wasn't having it.
So much for that...lol

The puppies all got new collars with tags...quiet tags!!!

Christmas day...Granny and Poppa making the best gumbo in the world!

Big easy

Peanut amongst all the presents!

♥♥♥

Peanut in his cute little outfit from Aunt Jojo!

Uncle Blake stealing some kisses from Ella...

Peanut was so tired and wanted his milk...look at that
sweet little face!  pitiful just pitiful!

Uncle Blaker and Aunt Leaher

You can't see it here but Granny and Poppa got Ella a cool little
kitchen which she has been cooking up some yummy stuff!

Grandma and Pawpaw got Ella a tricycle in which she can
finally reach the pedals.

Peanut got a little bike that has a ball under the seat for suspension.

long day!

Love this picture of Jackson, Roman and Peanut!

Sweet Sofia and her beautiful momma!

Hats from Aunt Jojo!

This is what happens when I ask for a family picture on Christmas
after a really long and busy day!

We went to Aunt Doris' house the day after Christmas
to see Charlie, Joanna and Rob...

New Years Eve this year, we hung out at our house
and made hamburgers and fries and mimosas!

This is Parker's gift from Granny and Poppa...
black truck just like Poppa's.

Parker is able to eat with a spoon or fork and feed himself
when I load it for him...so cute!

The day before New Years Eve
Ella fell on the concrete
while playing hide n go seek with
Pawpaw and Sofia. :-(
It healed up within a couple days.

How ya like the pepper on her toof!  lol

Typical Parker faces..lol

Love this little face!

Ella totin her brother around in his new truck.

In other news, Ella started school
on January 3rd and she loves it!

Parker and I go with her once a week
for a couple hours and we love it too.

Chris' teaching partner, Nick who loves
Ella Bear and vice versa.

Our backyard view at night...love it!

Every year, Granny takes her grand babies shoe shopping
right after the new year.

We had a great time as usual and the babies got some cool kicks!

Ella has been doing this little weepy eyed face lately
when I tell her to smile...cracks me up!

The first weekend of January we went to Jodi's
for the Annual Spaids Tournament.

We watched the Texans first then started the game.
It lasted until 3am!!!

Me and my little peanut!

All the kiddos piled in the bed watching "surfs up."

The day of the spaids tournament was Chris' great grandma's 100th birthday or at least
it would have been if she was still here.  I unfortunately never met her...
I was literally 1 month late meeting her as she passed away 1 month before
I met Chris almost 7 years ago.  I've heard she was one heck of a woman!

Love this outfit that the Klam Family
bought Ella Bear for her birthday!

These faces crack me up!!!

LOL...

These last few are from my phone...Peanut climbed
these chains all by himself!

They had an awesome time at the park this day!

We went on the way back from the chiro
and that was why they had their "Discover Chiropractic"
shirts on.

Peanut went down the slides by himself for the first time!  He loved it!

Love this picture of our sweet babies with their daddy reading to them!

OK so this post 25 Rules of Mother's with sons totally made me ball...
I mean cry my eyes out type of crying!  #25 in particular
I have to slap myself sometimes when I get frustrated with my little Peanut
because he constantly holds onto my legs, gets upset when I leave the room,
gives me the look of ("please don't leave me") when I have to go to the bathroom
or take a shower or anywhere he is not able to be with me holding my hand,
laying on my shoulder or hanging out on my hip.  Not that I don't always tend to
his needs and pick him up, hold him, comfort him, etc.  But, there are just times
I can't because I'm cooking or whatever it may be.
God meant for me to see this and remember that I am Peanut's home base
and he needs me more than anything right now.  I love you more than words, Peanut!

25 Rules of Mother's with sons

25. Be home base
You are home to him.  When he learns to walk, he will wobble a few
feet away from you and then come back, then wobble away a little farther
and then come back.  When he tries something new, he will look for your
proud smile.  When he learns to read, he will repeat the same book to you
twenty times in a row, because you're the only one who will listen that
many times.  When he plays his sport, he will search for your face in the
stands.  When he is sick, he will call you.  When he really messes up, he
will call you.  When he is grown and strong and tough and big and he feels
like crying, he will come to you; because a man can cry in front of his
mother without feeling self-conscious.  Even when he grows up and
has a new woman in his life and gets a new home, you are still his
mother; home base, the ever constant, like the sun.  Know that in your
heart and everything else will fall into place.

can you tell Parker has pink and purple crayon on his mouth and teeth?
Yep, he was eating the crayons!  and was having a blast!

The first time Parker saw his new truck from Granny & Poppa.

Grocery shopping with these two can be so entertaining!

My sleeping beauty

My bathing bubba

They like these things!

The new canvas prints I got of our babies!

We've been going on more bike rides lately...boy am I out of shape!

Now for a little update on our sweet babies...

Parker says nana nana nana...like no no no.  When I have to put
Ella in time out, he goes over to where she is and points at her and says no.

He knows where his eyes, hair, feet, belly, nose and mouth are
and of course teeth...he smiles really big almost closing his eyes
to show his pretty little toofies!  He has 5 now but 2 of them
are not fully in.

He says "huh" every time we say anything to him.
He can say ball, dog and balloon (baoon) and of course
momma, dada and Ella.

He gets so excited and loud when Daddy gets home from work
or when I get home from a shoot.  He comes running around the corner
talking really loud and opens his arms for a hug!

He also gets really excited and loud when I tell him to come to the
kitchen for something to eat.

Ella bear oh ella bear...she is so funny!
First of ball...as she would say,
she wakes up each morning saying,
"Can I have some chocolate milk?"
No good morning or hi momma and daddy...
just chocolate milk.  We give her a
tiny bit of chocolate almond milk in the
mornings only with regular milk mixed in
so it is mainly regular milk.

I swear she went through a grow spurt right in front of
my eyes!  For a couple weeks she was eating everything in site!
She was seriously eating more than me!
I can tell she grew a little too...her cute little legs aren't as pudgy
and neither is her tummy.  It's like she stretched out a bit.

Like I said before, she started school at the beginning of Jan.
and really seems to LOVE it!
She definitely has a mind of her own and
wants her independence but still wants us to hold her
every now and then.

We had a great conversation in the car a couple days ago...
She was telling me that sometimes it was bright when she was in my belly
but only when I didn't have my shirt on!  Pretty amazing, right!
I truly believe that evern though we can't remember what it was like in
our mommy's tummys that young children are able to tap back into those memories.
She told me sometimes it was loud and that she remembers daddy singing to her.

This girl is a night owl like her daddy!
No matter if she gets a nap during the day or not she
doesn't usually fall asleep until at least 10pm.
We are trying to do new things to signify the fact that it is time
for bed around 8:30 or so.  We have been turning the light out
(you know because when the lights go out, you tend to get sleepy)
and then we have been letting her light a candle on my night stand.

We still listen to that same CD in the car with
Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, etc. and she knows
just about every word to every song now.

Well, that's it for now...have a great week and God Bless!
