January RAIN and February LOVE...and everything in between

January brought several rainstorms which was really fun for the kiddos
but then we couldn't get out for our daily walk around the neighborhood.

The kiddos did get to play in the puddles though.
They had a blast!

Got this idea from Play at home Momma...A blog from a mom who uses things
around the house for play and thinks outside the box when it comes to play time.
They LOVE it!

silly little smile...

Time for a Parker Peanut update...

he shakes his head "no" all the time and also
nodds his head "yes" when you ask if he wants something.

he turns in circles when you tell him to dance
and he has been saying "NO" in a sweet little
voice a lot lately...guess who taught
him that...Ella Bear!

He has been sleeping through the night more consistently
and always takes a good 3 hour nap in the afternoon.
So, I have gotten 9 hours of sleep for the last couple weeks!
HALLELUJAH!!!

He has gotten two new teeth in...big ones
in the back before all the ones in the front even.
He still only has two on the bottom.

Boy, his personality is so cute!!!  He is showing us more and more
each and every day.

His sister also showed him how to hit and he has been gently hitting me and Ella.
Gently or not, I still correct him and try to re-direct him.

He still Love to be held especially when I am cooking dinner...of course...lol

He says poo-poo now...nice!

He still says, "huh" all the time...it's pretty funny.

He waves at everyone...in the store, on the street while we are walking,
at school, to daddy when he gets home and the sweetest is when I sit up in
the morning and see him at the foot of the bed in his play-yard waving at me!

We headed up to Canyon Lake at the beginning of February
to visit Poppa Joe and Naner.
We had a good ole time and the babies
loved seeing them!!!

Poppa Joe and Naner.

LOVE these beautiful smiles!

such a sweet picture of Naner and her babies.

The many faces of Ella Bear...lol

Peanut has some funny faces too!  Sometimes
I can't tell if he's going to cry or smile.

Love this little hand!

lol...he just cracks us up!

Poppa Joe, Naner and their grandbabies. (ella's mouth is full of food!)

Peanut in the big boy chair...he's growing up way too fast!

So, I look up from in the kitchen, doing the dishes and who
has a tutu on having tea with his sister...PEANUT!  lol
It was hilarious!

he thought he was so funny in it too!

they love to climb on the fireplace and then onto the chair...they
have a routine they do all the time and can keep them busy
for at least an hour!

my sweet girl!

Update on Ella Bear...

She recently told me, out of the blue,
"You are amazing, Mommy!"
TEARS!!!

She tells me, "You are so pretty!"
 and that she "LIKES" me...lol

She says her little pink bible is her treasure book.

She has been singing a lot more lately.
Probably because they sing a lot at school too...
I just love listening to her especially when she doesn't know it.
It is the sweetest sound!

She likes to bargain with us...I guess this normal
for kids when they want something.
"I will clean up the playroom and then I can
watch Angelina Ballerina...K" lol

I've been making her almond butter and jelly sandwiches
for her lunch to take to school on Thursdays
and for the last 3 weeks I have cut them into
shapes...

Ella took this picture of me...good job for a heavy camera!

Our babies!  BLESSED!!!

So, Ella started a sewing project and finished it in one day!
I was really impressed with her skills!
I only helped her very minimally...
she did 98% of it by herself!
Pretty cool!

And here's the finished project!
She ended up giving her bear to daddy as a present and then
while getting a delivery from the FED-EX guy, gave it to him for
Valentine's Day ♥♥♥...so sweet!

Don't freak out...this was after one of those warm rainy days in the afternoon
and she got a bath afterwards. :-)
Love these pictures though because she was having
SO-MUCH-FUN!!!

see what I mean!

She has this thing right now where she leans her head to
the side when I take her picture...cracks me up!

Granny and her babies.  They brought them sweet little bears!

One of my most favorite pics ever!

She was all smiles the whole time!

I can just imagine what was in Roman's head..."Dad you better stop
teasing me!  One day I'll be bigger than you and kick your butt!" LOL

sweet little Sofia

My little Stella

Stella wasn't too sure about it.

neither was Peanut at first.

uncle blaker and his miller babies...
if you notice in every picture how Peanut's little fingers
are...he grabs your shirt and pinches and sometime
gets a hold of something...lol

love my big easy!

Ella loves her Aunt Leah!

watch out Aunt Leah, he's about to pinch you...

oh there he goes pinching granny.

pinching daddy...
he does this to me every time I hold him.

LOVE this!

me and blaker...not sure what he is doing with his eyes...lol

Poppa and his babies...not sure what Ella is doing with her eyes...taking after uncle blake I guess.

Poppa & big easy...he's doing the eyes too!  lol

Now on to Ella & Parker's Tuesdays at school (Great Oak School)
They LOVE it there and so do we!  Parker
was sitting with his buddy Marshall in the rocking chairs.

Mrs. Aria, Ollie and Ella playing.

Peanut is always the first at the table to knead the dough and to "eat" the dough!

This is Sasha...Mrs. Aria's daughter who is in the kindergarten class there at Great Oak.
She LOVES holding Peanut.

Playing in the kitchen

They wash their hands in warm water with lavender and while singing
(wash your hands now, wash yourhands now,
the team has come to plow, if you're going to wash your
hands, wash your hands now) before kneading the dough.

then they knead the dough...

Peanut has yet to knead any dough though...he just eats it.  No worries...it doesn't have any raw eggs or
anything in it bad being just the dough.

Ella got to carry the tray of rolls to Mrs. Aria to put in the oven.

We "felted" a ball.  it's a process of making wool into felt.

Then we went out to the field to do circle time.

Peanut and his friend Marshall

Peanut and Ollie playing with a rock and wooden tractor.

Mrs. Aria teaching the kiddos how to fold one of the play silks.

God bless and have a great week!!!
