We called her shirley temple...

So Ella wanted to see what she would look like with curly hair.
So, I put it up while it was wet in tiny buns all over her head and she slept
with it like that all night...patiently waiting to wake up in the morning and see
some curls!

We started to take the rubber bands out...

And holy cow, it was curly curly curly!  She didn't even look like the
same child!

Her hair was like 8 inches shorter and wow, I was just
so surprised how different she looked!

She stared at herself in the mirror
for quite a while and went back to check
to make sure the curls were still there several times.

This expression here just shows how excited she was!

Had to add in that I made Peanut's favorite...pancakes and of course we were nearing
valentines day so I made them heart shaped pancakes.

Her curls relaxed a little as the day went on.

Peanut wanted to join in all the fun too!
He wondered why I couldn't make his
hair curly too!

He was good with my explanation.

The next day, her hair was still curly but she wasn't feeling too good.
We got all ready for school, loaded up the car and started off
on our 40-45 minute drive out to Tomball.  Ella mentioned
her tummy feeling funny so I gave her a towel
and I asked her if she felt like she needed to
throw up and she said no so I kept driving.
Once we rounded the corner at 249 and Spring Cypress she started
throwing up big time!
Missed the towel completely...got it all over her carseat, the back of my seat,
the floorboard, the cup holders next to her and of course all over herself...
my poor baby girl.  Made me feel horrible.  I just so happened to be right by
the gas station and I pulled in and got her out and started cleaning her up
It was seriously all over the place and the smell...ugh.  Grandma had given her
one of those laughing cow cheese things to see if it would settle her tummy.
So you can just imagine how bad it smelled!
I got her home, bathed her and put her down for a nap.
Poor baby girl!

In the mean time this little sweetie
was so quiet because I told him he had to
be very quiet because Ella needed her rest
so she could feel better and play with him.
So he was quiet and colored for seriously 2 hours!

And this was Ella when she woke up...lol
I told her she couldn't run all around
playing and getting tired and stuff that she
had to do something sitting down and relax.
So, she wanted to knit :-)

The next morning Peanut helped me with pancakes again...he's such a good helper!

More catching up with pictures to come!

God Bless!
