32 week Ultrasound & my first Baby Shower!

What an exciting week!!! First of all, we had our last big diagnostic ultrasound and got to see our baby girl! Debbie, our ultrasound technician said that Ella weighs around 4 lbs. 14 oz. right now at 32 weeks which is about 1 1/2 lbs. larger than average at this time. So, we could be looking at a 9 pounder!!! This is all of course just an estimate but thank the good Lord that we have a big healthy baby girl on the way!

Mommy, Daddy and Daddy's guitar! After Debbie did all the looking around she needed to do, Chris played and sang the newest version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for our Ella Bear! Before he started playing she was moving a lot. Debbie couldn't even get a good listen to her heart at that point because she was making so much noise moving! She said, "Oh man, ya'll are in trouble!" LOL Meaning that she is hyper! Anyways, once Chris started playing the guitar and singing, she calmed right down and was still and then started swaying a little to the beat of the song! SERIOUSLY! Momma Lowry video taped it so hopefully we'll be able to put it on the blog sometime. It was so cool and we were all in tears including Debbie (the ultrasound tech)!

Then Saturday, I had my first baby shower! It was so much fun! Alma, Brenda & Carolyn did an amazing job and I had such a wonderful time!
I am so blessed to have such amazing friends and family in my life!
Brenda made this Diaper Wreath for us to hang on the hospital door when Ella is born and then to put on the door in her room! Isn't it awesome!

Look how tiny!!! It's just amazing to me that I have a little bitty life inside of me growing and getting ready to bless us with her presence in a month in a half or so.

Brock (Lindsay & Michael's baby boy born July 7th) and Isabella (Brenda & James' baby girl born July 10th)...I think those are the right dates.

The boys had all gone to play flag football and softball (for Chris' Dudes & Diapers) while we had the shower. Then they came back to Eddie & Alma's house for hamburgers and to hang out with all of us girls! We got tons of diapers by the way! Thank you guys so much for that!
