Our friends, Gene & Mackie, finally got to bring home their baby girl from the hospital last week! Maddie was born in June and has spent the last 4 months at Texas Children's Hospital in the Medical Center. She has a rare lung disease called Congenital Primary Pulmonary Lymphangiectasia but is doing much better thanks to all of the prayers! She still has all the tubes, tape and monitors all over but we got a chance to go over to Gene & Mackie's to visit and for me to take a couple pictures for them while she was in between changing out all that stuff and her face was clear.
Chris got to hold her for a little while too! I can't wait to see him in action with our baby girl! He is going to be the best daddy! I know I am a little biased!

I am so glad that I could capture the special moments they had together and that Maddie is doing so well! She's definitely a trooper and a gift from God!
