Last weekend, we went to Garden Ridge with Daddy to look for an eisel and we strapped Ella Bear to me in the carrier facing forward for the first time. I put her in this almost every night while I am doing little things around the house and she almost always falls asleep but this time we placed her in it facing forward and she LOVED it! She also loves being outside and catching the wind in her mouth too!
She's definitely filling out! Look at that double chin! ;-)
Sunday night we took a family trip to the big HEB over on Barker Cypress and 290 to check it out, get some groceries and eat too. We got to park in the "Customer with Child Parking"!!! So we were right up front! Ella was so good in the grocery store even though we were a little past her feeding time.
We tried to put Ella in her Bumbo for the first time and she didn't really like it much. But, she was also hungry and tired so we'll try again soon.
Her room is coming along very nicely! Marilyn is doing such a great job!!! We still have to move her name over to above the crib and hang her mirror above the dresser..hopefully we'll get to that this weekend.
We finally get to enjoy all the wonderful little messages friends and family wrote on diapers during my family shower. They are size 1 diapers so we had to wait until she was out of the newborns. It was a really neat thing to do at a shower and it lasts as long as a pack of diapers lasts. So, every time we use a diaper from her diaper stacker, we get a cute little message...here are a couple..."Be careful, I'm precious", "God Loves Me", "Ella Loves Mommy" (The one below), "Pooper Scooper", "Front/Back", Don't forget to wipe me", etc, etc.
The little outfit wasn't meant to be a Valentines outfit but it worked great for Friday at Mrs. Gloria's for their little V-day. It says LOVE...her arm is over the E.
