BIG NEWS! Baby Ethan is here!

Ethan Blake Lowry is here!!! Ethan came into this world yesterday which coincidentally was Blake & Leah's 3 year wedding anniversary, weighing 7lbs. 7oz. 19 3/4" in length. Leah & Baby Ethan are doing great and Blake is beaming from ear to ear! Here's a quick picture I snapped of Ethan in the nursery getting ready to go back to the room. Welcome to our family Ethan! We love you!

Last weekend was busy busy busy...don't I say that every week??? LOL
We started off by going to Theresa & Danny Boy's house for the announcement of their baby's sex. They had gone to the doctor earlier that day and asked for the sex to remain unknown to them and placed in an envelope which they later opened with us, their friends and family.
It's a GIRL! Congratulations guys! I can't wait to met her!
Therese pretty much knew it was a girl!

Saturday morning Ella & I went to Aidan's 6th birthday party at Bane Park. I didn't even get a picture of the birthday boy himself I hardly ever saw him. Ella had another explosion in her britches and Therese, Mel and I took her out to the car to clean her up and change her clothes.
Rina Marie and her beautiful girls, Alexa (Lexi Lu) and Elisa Faye

The McCulloughs...such a beautiful family! I can't believe how big Chlo Bear has gotten!

Mel & sweet little RJ

Me & Rina and our baby girls...(they are friends...inside joke)

Mel found another baby boy to sit in her lap...she said he only came to sit in her lap because she had a cupcake...LOL

This was pre-poopoo-explosion...
Saturday evening we went to Blake & Leah's house for dinner since we knew it would be the last time for a while that we could all hang out before Ethan was born. Ella wore a little camo onesie compliments of Uncle Greg. We figured that Blake and Leah would appreciate it since they are into hunting, riding four wheelers and that kind of stuff.
Blake said, "Well, now you know what your baby boy (if you had one) would look like"

We'll have to find a pink camo onesie...
I didn't keep her in that for long...I had to "girl her up"
Sunday, I had a maternity shoot in the morning (Jim & Erica - due in April) while Jodi helped watch Ella Bear. We went to Willie's Ice house afterwards for lunch and Ella Bear was so good! She just hung out in her car seat and took a nap while we ate.
I LOVE this picture.

Ella loves sucking on our fingers, hands and arms...especially at bath time!

I thought it was so cute so I had to catch a picture of her doing it!

She loves talking to us after her bath...

Tuesday was our 2 year wedding anniversary as stated on the previous post. This is the message I cam home to after work. Chris had a note on the counter downstairs welcoming me home to a "House full of love." It said to make my way upstairs...then at the top of the stairs there was a glass of wine and another note saying something like this wine will help you wind down and relax and asked me to keep going towards the bathroom. I walked in the bath room and Chris was frantically tossing flower petals in a bubble bath for me with Ella in the swing next to him. He looked at me and said, "Man, this is so much harder with a baby!" LOL It was so sweet!

This was right before we went to Flemings Steakhouse which Therese & Danny recommended and also gave us their $25 gift card to use. Thank you so much T&D! We had so much fun and look forward to going again after we save up another 2 months worth of grocery money...LOL just kidding! Hopefully we'll get tp go back soon!
Nice placement...I look like I have a cone head and Chris looks like he has sticks and leaves coming out of his head... :-)
This was after enjoying wonderful wine, crab cakes, wedge salad, filet mignon (totally awesome and the best we've ever had), Flemings potatoes (Therese, you were right, these were freaking amazing), sugar snap peas, chocolate moose with hazelnet bark and the best dessert ever, Lava cake with 2 ice cream scoops! My mouth is watering!
We had an awesome server/waiter too. His name is D.W. (Dan Wright) if any of you ever make it to Flemings Steakhouse on W. Alabama and Kirby!
I've got 3 cute videos of our baby bear chatting it up but didn't have time to upload them so stay tuned for that next week! Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!
