Ella Bear is crawling!

I started this blog post last week but kept forgetting to finish it...Ella started crawling last week!!! She has been on her hands and knees for a couple months now and rocked back and forth but never actually crawled until last week. It was so awesome and I was so proud! Yeah yeah, I know all you mommas out there are like, big deal she crawled...all babies crawl but I swear I never thought I would be so excited seeing her do it! OMG...I might just cry when she walks! LOL
Chris called me on Wednesday and this was how the conversation went...
Chris: "Baby, things have changed!"
Me: "Why, what's going on?"
Chris: "I put Ella on her blanket and then looked back at her and she had crawled clear across the room! I couldn't get anything done today because I couldn't just put her on in her magic carpet"
Me: "Yeah, well, that's how it happens sweetie and now we need to get down on her level and find all the things that could be potential hazzards and start baby proofing our house as much as possible"
Chris: "Our baby girl is growing up, she'll be driving tomorrow!"
Me: "LOL"
Here are a couple pics I took of her in her little onesie that says, "MISS NOVEMBER" that her Aunt Nesie bought for her when she was born. It finally fits and she looks so cute in it even though you can't see it in the pictures. :-)

Congratulations to Therese & Danny boy...Baby Gia is here! Gia Bella made her world debut on July 27th around noon time weighing 6lbs. 11oz and 20.5" (you know the supermodel type measurements). Mommy and baby are doing great at home now and I still can't believe Therese is a momma! Shoot, I can hardly believe I am a momma still! LOL I went to visit the day she was born and got to hold the little angel! I can't wait for Ella to meet her and have sleep overs and tea parties and dress up dates and all the things sweet little girls do!

Ella and I took Aunt Pia to lunch at Locatelli's Pizzeria last week for her b-day. Here's a video from once we got home and Aunt Pia was singing and dancing with Ella...

This is the first video of her crawling...She's been doing this all week long but I haven't gotten to see it so of course I got my camera out to record the momentous occassion! Her daddy was playing the guitar and singing in the background.

I had one more video but for some reason it wouldn't uplaod to my blog. It was so cute too. I'll keep trying to post it.

In other news, Ella is 9 months old today! I can't believe it! Time has definitely flown by and it's been absolutely wonderful! We have her 9 month check-up today...and then we have to start cleaning up around the house because we have family coming in from Kerrville Thursday night and spending the weekend with us. I'm sure I'll have lots of pictures from that to share next week. Plus my friend Carla so graciously made Ella a little tutu...tiffany's colors and I want to get some pictures of her in it very soon!
