birthday to spend time with Poppa Joe and
Naner at the Silver Leaf Resort at the west end
of the Island. I always love going to Galveston
no matter if I get to go to the beach or not and
no matter if the water is brown or not. It's just
a place I love being. I guess it all stems from us
going down there so much during our childhood
to our beach house with family. Anyways, we
drove there Friday night and ate at Fishtales on our
way down the seawall. The next morning we went
into town and ate lunch then came back and went
to the beach. This was Ella's first time at the beach
and it was a litle overcast that Saturday so the water
was pretty cold! She didn't take to it as good as we
thought she would but it was windy and like I said
it was cold for even me! She still had fun with her
toes in the sand and feeling the texture of the sand
in her hands.
I always like to start things off with my favorite
recent picture each post so here it is...In honor of
Chris' birthday May 2nd, Ella had on her I love Dad
pj's on his birthday.

Let me digress here for a minute...I forgot to post
these couple pics from Easter...Ella walking with her Poppa...

This is her Easter basket that Granny & Poppa
bring her and Ethan each year...filled with goodies!

Going hunting for Easter eggs...looks determined doesn't she...

Ella & Ethan
ready there are tons!
Her Aunt Jojo bought her this new bathing suit...
thanks Aunt Jojo. Oh and by the way...Ella is now
saying Jojo and of course this melts Jodi's heart!
She says "hi jojo" and repeats it over and over.

Before going back to the beach on Sunday, we went
to the playground at the resort where her daddy took
faces going down the slide but always smiles at the
end. It's like she looses her tummy.

Already practicing her gymnastics! :-)

Sliding with Daddy...
LOVE this picture of her on the slide!

I know it's been almost a month since I posted
last so there is a lot to catch up on. Ella is growing
like a weed! I think she is around 21 lbs. right now.
And I can definitely tell she is getting taller since she
has outgrown the length of her 12 month sleepers.
She has 10 teeth now and more and more are coming
in every day and usually all at the same time...that's
just the way she likes to do things. LOL
She says "no" all the time but we are using reverse
psychology (not really)on her and when she says "no"
we say "yes" and she then turns shaking her head
from side to side to nodding her head forward and
back. So, she says yes, even if she doens't want to...LOL
She says so many words and copies everything we
say and do. I know all parents think their children
are amazing and we are no different! I know Chris
and I feel the same when I say, that sometimes well,
all the time, we just watch her in amazement! I still
miss her right after I drop her off at Mrs. Gloria's.
Last week she cried while looking back at me while
I was leaving. This was the first time she did that and
boy did it break my heart! I cried the whole way out
and the whole way to work!
Ella knows where the baby is and points to my tummy
or my boob and then sometimes pats it. She gives my
belly kisses too!
As for Miller baby #2, who we have been calling peanut,
and who Chris is certain is a boy, he/she is doing good
and we'll get to find out what the sex is in 3 weeks!
I had my 16 week appointment last week and they
said everything was looking good. I think I felt the
baby kick a couple times now but I'm not totally for
sure. I didn't feel Ella kicking until I was 22 weeks.
That's it for now...hope everyone has a great weekend
and be safe!
God Bless!

So happy to hear that everything is going well! The beach pics were so cute - Ella is just growing up so fast! Crazy to think that next year at this time you will have two to take to the beach!
