12 Week Ultrasound

We've reached 12 weeks and hopefully the nauseous
feeling, grouchiness (is this a word?) and my disgust
with food will be history pretty soon! Of course it's all
worth it for the end result. I'd go through all of it over
and over again and all 9 months if I had to! And
actually, I feel pretty fortunate that I'm just nauseous
and not puking all the time like some women I know.
I know Chris is ready for me to be back to normal. He
was asking Ella yesterday, "Where did you hide your
momma..in the closet?" after I dropped some of Ella's
frozen food on my big toe and started freaking out
because it hurt so bad. I know it sounds like nothing
but it hit right on the sensitive part of your big toe right
below the nail. I did the same thing on the other foot and
have had a bruise for the last 9 months that has almost
grown out all the way with my toenail.
Needless to say, going and seeing our sweet little peanut
yesterday on an ultrasound made me feel all better!
I brought home a DVD for Chris since he was unable
to go to this appoinment and he loved it! We could see
the baby moving and I think sucking it's thumb. The
heartbeat was nice and strong and the ultrasound tech
said, "You have such a cute baby!" LOL
I am still so amazed that there is a baby growing in
there...I guess, I'll always be amazed at the miracle of
being pregnant!

As for Ella Bear, she is just growing up way to fast!
She added several new words to vocabulary the last
couple weeks. She says bib, bubbles, yes, more (out
loud and in sign language), eye, poppa, pawpaw,
yellow is all colors right now, hi momma, hi dada
and many more. She knows the beginning of the
alphabet and we go through it regularly. We went
through it last night and she repeated after me A-Z!
