Lots to catch up on & Happy Valentines Day!

Our Valentines Card from us to you!
It's been a long time since I've posted but for good reason!
We've be so busy and I haven't had a chance to even
upload all the pics I've been taking! I think I took this
one of Parker sleeping in his car seat like 3 weeks ago
in the morning.  He is already 4 months old and I can't
believe how fast it has gone by!  He turned 4 months on
the 11th of February.

He is doing so many new things and smiles all the time!
He reaches for his toys and grabs them now and is rolling
over all the time too.  He's definitely a momma's boy but
of course he is good with everyone else too.

He finally slept through the night on January 24th
(ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA) but
the next night he woke up at 3:30 so it's not a consistent
thing yet.  It seems like it's every other night that
he sleeps from 10pm until 5-5:30am and when he doesn't
sleep until 5am he usually sleeps until 4 which is a hard one
since I have to get up for work at 5-5:15.

He started sleeping through the night when I
put him down on his tummy to sleep.  I noticed that
he slept better on his tummy during a couple naps
over that weekend so I put him down on his tummy for
bedtime and before I knew it I woke up at 3am thinking...
"hmmmmmm, let me check on him to make sure he is breathing."
And he was.  He slept that night until 5am and I was like YAY!!!
Ella slept better on her tummy too.  She started sleeping on
her tummy between 2 and 3 months on her own.

He laughs out loud a lot which makes our hearts
just melt!  I remember the first time I heard Ella laugh out
loud and I though it was the sweetest thing in the world!
So to get to hear it now from Parker is so awesome!

He loves to get his diaper changed!  When I take his diaper off
and start wiping him down he starts laughing out loud and smiling
really big.

He still loves watching Ella.  He keeps his eyes on her
constantly! He talks to her and smiles at her all the time.
I just can't get enough of my little sweet peas!!!

I don't have very many pictures of Pawpaw and
Parker so I made sure to take one the last
time they came over.  Pawpaw loves his
grand babies!

My sweet babies!

Ella was holding Parker's hand in this one and they were watching Avatar.

Parker's eyes are hazel right now and I hope
they stay that way.
Chris' eyes are light brown too.  Parker's eyes are

usually Chris' color
unless he is wearing something that brings out the

green in them.

I have no idea what kind of smile this is...lol

Parker constantly has his fingers in his mouth so I wouldn't be surprised
if he starts getting some teeth very soon but then again Ella did the same thing and she didn't get her first tooth until she was 13 months old.

OK so I took quite of few pics of Parker
so here they are and of course I couldn't choose
which ones to post so I pretty much posted
all of them.

Our sweet little Ella Bear...
Some quick updates on her...she is doing great
potty training but still has accidents.  We don't
want to rush the process but we know she'll get it
fully in time.

When she hears a song on the radio and a man
is singing, she says, "Daddy singing" and the same
when a female voice is singing she says, "Mommy
singing."   So Daddy & Mommy are singers now!
LOL

And she sings along to music in the car too.  I have
an awesome cd that Chris made me last year for
Christmas that has a lot of my favorite songs on it
like from Jack Johnson, Ben Harper and various
other non mainstream artist.  Anyways, somewhere
over the rainbow is on it and a jazz version of you
are my sunshine too and she sings right along with
them so beautifully!

She has been saying "Shhhhhh Mommy" or
"Shhhhhhh Daddy" when we are talking
or getting onto her about something.

She likes to strum Daddy's guitar.
I hope this curiosity will lead
her to wanting to learn to play
in the future.  I would love for our babies
to learn to play an instrument!

A conversation with between Daddy and
Ella today...
Daddy: "You ready to go little momma?"
asking Ella.
Ella: "No, I Ella!" as she points to herself.
In other words, she's not little momma!
Lol

Her favorites songs right now are row row row
your boat, patty cake, still twinkle twinkle
and itsy bitsy sider.

I think I might get this one in a canvas print eventually
because I like it so much!

He loves the magic carpet and all it's
special features just like Ella did!

Grandma has this new trampoline and Ella loves to jump on it!

Pawpaw serenading Ella on the guitar...

Parker is looking more an more like Chris every day!

My boys

Our babies in their robes after a Saturday morning bath.

I took these a couples weeks ago in the morning before leaving
for work.  It's so hard leaving his and Ella's sweet little faces!

In other news, I started a new job!  I have been wanting
to get into teaching for a long time but it just never
worked out before now.  I even went through the Region IV
Alternative Certification Program back in 2001 but couldn't find
a teaching job after that. So the opportunity arose again for
me to take a more streamlined alternative certification program
and I ran with it.  I finished my training through Texas Teachers
last year at this time and then passed my content exam (EC-4)
in May 2010 as well.  I was pregnant though and knew I wouldn't
have much of a chance getting a teaching job while I was pregnant.
So, I went back to my job at EIM (the same job I had been at for
almost 5 years and then an awesome opportunity came my way!
Chris came home one day and said Pam (his principal) said I had the
ARIP tutoring position at his school if I wanted it without any
interviews or anything.  Of course she knew I was in the hunt
for a teaching job and she knew who I was from me going up
to his school so many time before.  So, I immediately said I would
take it and went to training.  I started Wednesday, Jan. 26th and I
have loved it so far!  It's like the best part of teaching too since it's
small groups and you get to really know the kiddos and give them
individualized attention.  I have about (12) 30 min. sessions per day with
groups of 1 to 4 kiddos and have mostly 3rd - 5th grades and 1
2nd grade session. I pull them out of their classes to tutor them in reading.
They are the sweetest kids and I feel so blessed to have
gotten this position at Chris' school!  I am making less
$$$ which is fine as long as I am happy with what I am doing and driving
less! But, I will not have a job during the summer so
I will need to line up as many photography sessions as possible so we can pay our bills.  :-) HINT HINT...If you know anyone who needs a
photographer...I'm your gal!
Also, I hope to find a full time teaching position for the fall!  Thank
you to all of you who have been praying for me to get this opportunity
and continued prayers for a full time teaching position are appreciated!!!
Teaching is the best job next to being at home with my babies.  So,
if I can't be home with them, this was the next best thing.
God Bless and have a great week and Happy Valentines Day!
