Our mini vacation to G-town!

Once again, There are tons of pictures on this post!
Yes, I don't know how to just post a couple pictures...
I am a pathological picture poster...lol
I think there are like 110 pictures on this post! :-)

Let's start off with a couple pics from my phone...

Parker with Uncle Jesse...love this pic!  And Uncle Jesse
LOVES his Miller babies!  Ella and Parker LOVE him too!

Parker in the wee hours of the mornin in Galveston
I tried to get more sleep when he woke up but he was climbing all
over me and the bed! stinker!

Daddy bought Ella and Parker a new water
play station for the back yard...they love it!

This is Ells's "duh" face...lol

Ella's 4th of July dress - hand me down of course!  so cute!
And now on to our trip to Galveston...

We arrived in Galveston around 2 or 3 and went down to the beach for the afternoon.
Ella likes to play this game where she makes her serious face and then cracks up in a huge grin.
She got that from Madagascar when Alex moves his hand over his face and goes from
serious to happy...it cracks me up!

I LOVE this picture of my sweet babies!

This one too!

This one may be my favorite of P from the whole trip but there is one more below that I love of him
on the beach!  These beach pics of Ella and Parker are going in our half bath downstairs
one of these days because that is going to be the "beach" bathroom once we remodel and paint it.

His faces are just hilarious!

I know, silly picture but there's a reason...it's Chris' calves because he know how much I like them!  :-)

Love this picture of me and my little Ella Bear!

Chris was like, "Hey Ella, why you leavin me out here all alone?"  LOL
She was a little cautious of the water at first and thought that it was going to get
Daddy.  Granted, we watched Gulliver's Travels earlier that week and the big sea
waters swallows gulliver's boat...just shows you how much influence tv and movies have
on our kiddos!

sweet kisses!

This was the face we got when we would go anywhere close to the water the first day at
the beach.

So, I know most people think Galveston water is gross and they would never go
there for a vacation but Galveston brings so many warm and fuzzy memories for
me and for Chris as well since he used to live there.
While growing up, we came to Galveston/Bolivar all the time
with my grandparents to the beach house.  So, it's like a home
away from home for me.  Yeah, sure I would like it if the water was clear
and blue less the seaweed but hey, it's 1 hour tops from Houston, it's water,
it's a getaway, they have fabulous food there
and we'll have fun anywhere we go as long as we're together!

Speaking of food, we tried out the Mexican food restaurant on the Strand
called Maggie Rita's and it was really good!  Aside from the confusion
when we first arrived and were seated (it was shift change and we ended
up waiting for a good 15 mins. to get a waiter) it was awesome!

Also, Chris discovered something new (sweets).  Ella and I originally went in
King's Confectioner's Ice Cream and candy palor and left Chris and Parker outside
with the stroller.  We got cookies and cream and another ice cream and Chris had
something like cheesecake but I couldn't find anything there so as we were walking
back to the car, Chris saw another sweets shop, "The Chocolate Factory"
He went in and a good 30 mins came out with 3 bags of chocolate!!!
I know better than to send him in by himself now!  LOL

He asked the guy if they had any cheesecake types of desserts and he said yes,
and then said he could dip the cheesecake in chocolate and roll it in nuts!
It was all over from then.  Chris was in Heaven!
So, every time we go back we know where
we are going to get our desserts!

The top picture was our little set up on the beach...it was really nice
having good shade out there...especially with the babies!
We packed our lunch (sandwiches and chips) and
hung out at the beach all day.  Ella was obviously pooped.

Ella played dress up...walked around wearing two dresses.

This picture is just so Ella....I love it!

Ella played dress up...walked around wearing two dresses.

Our dinner at Maggie Ritas...noce family pic right!  LOL
Parker peanur was HUNGRY!

The next day we went to Moody Gardens.
Ella loved the sea lions.

The butterfly garden was awesome!  They landed on Chris' hand and my hand too!

I love when I get a good picture of me and my babies!

Daddy's girl!

LOVE these colors!

This is one of those classic pictures that I want Ella to look back on when she is
like 30 and feel so loved!

At Palm Beach splash pad Moody Gardens.

Little bubba bear passes out while Ella was playing in the water so he didn't get
to enjoy it with his sissy.

Our last day on the beach...

Going to get water in her bucket...

Bringing water back...

Parker has something with
beer...when he sees a beer can
he lunges for it!  He doesn't do this
with anything else..at least he doesn't
so intensely go for anything else.

Daddy and Ella gave Parker a sand bath.

YAY!  Finally a picture of Chris and I...notice Parker's hand on my chest...lol

Chris is the "bird guy"

This one is going up in the beach bathroom!

This one too!

And this one!

This one is one of my favs of Ella Bear!

4th of July...went to Marsha's and had good food and good fun in the sun!

Hanging out with the Whitcher's (Chris' best friend from high school
and his mom Christella (Noni) and dad Charles (Dado).

Noni singing to Ella and Parker.  Ella came home singing a couple of the songs
she heard from her...it was so cute!

Ella got to help Noni bake some cupcakes!  She stirred the eggs and mix all by herself!

Then placed all the cupcake cups in the pan and helped pour batter into them!
She's a little betty crocker I tell ya!

I got her a little pink piggie spatula the next day so she could help me cook! :-)

Noni, Dado and Alan pampered us with dinner and dessert and with a wonderful
afternoon shared with family!  Thank ya'll!

A couple weekends ago we went to Granny and Poppa's for some BBQ chicken
on Poppa's new gas grill!  It was totally awesome as usual!

The kiddos played in the sprinkler while we hung out on the patio.

I love my big Easy!  (Uncle Chris gave him this nickname the
last time we were over there)

LOVE these pics of Granny and Parker!

This little stinker is still not taking his solids down real well.  I try every day
but he barely let's me put the spoon in his mouth.
I've read and heard about some babies not liking pureed foods and going straight
to finger foods when they are ready.
I am still nursing him exclusively so he is definitely getting complete nutrition.
It's so different from Ella though because she loved every food
we ever gave her and scarfed it down!

Ella went through a couple weeks of saying, "Dad-ty"

Parker is unusually strong...he holds himself up on the couch
cushions with his feet off the floor.

Ella told us that her favorite song is, "If your happy and you
know it..."
Parker stood up for 10 seconds on July 9th!  Watch out world...here
he comes!

Something finally clicked and Ella is going peepee and poopoo on the potty
consistantantly with no accidents!  It's like everyone told me...all
of a sudden, it will just click and it did...thankfully!  So she wears her pull ups
at night only and when I give her a pull up to put on she says, "I not going peepee
in my big girl panties!"  LOL
So, we went to Target and got her some more big girls panties because
she didn't have very many.  We also picked out another potty top so now
we have all 3 potties covered in our house.
Yay!!!  One out of diapers finally!!!

And to save money, we have been using cloth diapers for Parker
most of the time.  We had them from Ella because we used them all
summer long before she turned 1 to save some money then too.

Ella, Parker and I danced out in the rain last week...I think Tuesday the 19th
when we got a good 5 hours of rain!  We made up a new little diddy...
"Raindrops fallin on my head, raindrops fallin on my head,
rain drops fallin...raindrops fallin, rain drops fallin on my head."

I know, really complicated wording right!  LOL

LOVE these pictures of our naked babies!  Speaking of naked...
they both love to run around the house naked so that's pretty much
how they are any given day of the week unless we go out walking
or out in public of course...lol

Silly Ella Bear!  I LOVE YOU!

Bath time has been pretty crazy lately because Parker always tries to stand up and crawl out of the tub.
So we typically just bathe Parker quickly and get him out and then let Ella play for a while.

And speaking of crawling out of the tub, he is crawling, climbing, scooting and flipping over
everything.   He is climbing on the fireplace, the couches, the stairs, etc.
He is walking around things now too so I wouldn't be surprised if he starts walking
very soon!  YIKES!

Ella and I went to Noah's Ark last Thursday with Big Easy and Aunt Leah.
The kiddos had a blast!
Big Easy showed Ella the ropes!

Until next time...you know I'll be taking plenty of pics!  LOL

God bless!
