Valentines Day at Great Oak

Valentines day is always a special and fun time
for the kids at school.  Ella has had 3 Valentine's exchanges
but each year she gets so excited to give and receive
the little handmade, heartfelt gifts from her classmates.
I love that it's not just store bought Valentines Day cards
that the children give…it's sweet little gifts
handmade from the heart.
This year Ell and Parker made
beaded heart wands.

This year was extra special because it was
our little Parker's very first Valentine's
Day at Great Oak.  So, he got to join in all the
fun in his own classroom.  They were both
very proud of their handmade gifts!

Each child made their own little bag to hold their gifts.

On a side note, Parker made these gloves in class
as a project.  He sewed them all by himself!
