Our 8th Anniversary trip

So, this year, for our 8th anniversary, I planned a camping trip for
just Chris and I.  It had been several years since we had done anything
by ourselves so this time with each other was long overdue!
Pace Bend Park was amazing!
We got there Friday afternoon and stated exploring right after
we got the camper all set up.

The water was so calm and of course we watched the sunset!

The next morning, we woke up and started
exploring again!  

We took a 4 hour hike around the park…got lost
a couple times (got off the trail) but found our way.
I packed a picnic lunch for us and we enjoyed that
about half way through our hike.

The flowers were beautiful and the woods were
so peaceful!

There were some incredible views here!

Saturday might, I made Chili and we
took it and a bottle of wine to enjoy dinner
and watch the sunset on the edge of the rocks
with this view!

Chris made a darn good fire that night!

And believe it or not, Chris and I woke up to watch the sunrise the next morning!
It was a beautiful one!
