Priceless!

Get ready, sit back and relax because this is one of my more lengthy posts with lots and lots of pictures!
I gotta start off with this weeks favorite 2 pictures of Ella. I snapped this one in between shots of another cutie pie I was doing a session with at our house.

We spent a couple hours last Saturday at my good friend Pamela's house with the girls. This is Maryn...Pam's middle kiddo.
Before that we stopped by Granny & Poppa's to drop something off and visited for a minute.
Ella Bear sandwich smooch between Uncle Blaker and Poppa!

Love this picture of Poppa and Ella Bear!

LOVE this picture of Granny & Ella!

Now I gotta work on getting some good pics of Ella with her Grandma and Poppa Dasch!
I've always wanted to do one of these "Priceless" sayings...

Getting up before the rooster crows...no monetary cost but it sure is hard!

Gas for the trip to Ella's babysitter and then to work....almost 1/4 of a tank.

Time spent driving to Mrs. Gloria's house...40 minutes...then 45 more minutes and sometimes more to get to work.

Dropping Ella off with Mrs. Gloria and seeing her face light up and having a babysitter who absolutely adores and loves our baby girl and Ella clearly loves her too...PRICELESS!

I never claimed to be good at putting together a "Priceless" saying. LOL

Somehow the drive to Mrs. Gloria's house doesn't seem so long when I think about how well she is cared for! We are so blessed to have found Mrs. Gloria and I know her and Ella have formed a special bond!
I think I mentioned in my last post that we went to Gmaw Glenda & Pappy's house in Navasota for a late lunch a couple Sunday's ago. Here are a couple pictures from the day.
I know this picture is blurry but it was my favorite of Gmaw Glenda (nana) and Ella. I'll have to work on gettong better pics of them two together!
Pawpaw & Ella (It's actually Poppa but I made my own assumption even before Ella was born when I had a personalized bib made for Ella to have when she was over Big Chris & KK's house that said, "I love my Pawpaw" on it...I thought I heard Sofia calling him Pawpaw all the time but I guess it could've been either one in her precious little girl voice.) So, we are going to have two Poppa's. :-)
My little Sofia...love her!
Ella and her cousin Sofia...they are going to love these pictures when they get older!

look how sweet they are!
We went to Pappadeaux a couple Sunday's ago to celebrate Aunt Leah's birthday with the family...
Ethan and Blaker...E dog is getting so big!
I LOVE these two pictures of Chris, Ella & I!
Ella loves rubbing her hands in Chris' beard.

The whole family...Ethan was getting sick of my picture taking...LOL

Eddie & Alma's big boy, Orri, me and Ella Bear hanging out for Eddie's birthday party a couple weekends ago. I can't believe how old he is already! I did his newborn pics early last year but it seems like just yesterday when he was born. He's a sweetie!

Uncle Jesse & Ella watching the Texans at Eddie & Almita's house. Ella has her Texans onesie on that I bought Chris while I was pregnant.

Grandma & Ella - several weeks ago.

This picture is from several weeks ago too when Chris, Ella & I went out to the Cinco Ranch water park to visit the Lopez Family and see Uncle Papa and Aunt Becca Boo. Aunt Becca Boo was having fun with Ella in the pool...

Chris is such a big kid! I would have been up there too if I wasn't watching Ella...LOL
Update on Ella Bear...
She'll be 10 months old already labor day weekend!
She weighed 17 lbs. 4 oz. and was 27" long at her 9 month appointment.
She is crawling all over the place and getting into everything.
We have a human vaccuum cleaner now...LOL
She is standing up on anything she can get her hands on.

Note to self...we need to get the gate for the bottom of the stairs!
She still says her name a lot but also says, dada, momma, nana, baba and lots of other sounds too.
So far she has eaten avacado, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, bananas, apples, pears, peaches, butternut squash, yellow squash, green beans, peas, eggplant, chicken and she started on carrots this week.
I know it's easy to just go buy all of the jarred baby foods but I've had a good time cooking all the above and find it easier and way less expensive.
Ella LOVES the movies! We took her for her 4th time this past weekend to the movies and we saw G.I. Joe. It was surprisingly good! She's been to 2 movies with her daddy and then 2 with both of us. She takes a nap most of the time or quietly watches the movie.
No teeth yet. I was 10 months before I got my first tooth. I sure don't mind that she doesn't have any teeth yet since I'm still nursing. ;-)
She claps all the time and even on command!
Since I have been taking Ella to the babysitter every morning Ella and I go into our room and tell her daddy bye bye and like clockwork she gets a huge grin on her face when we walk into the room and sees her daddy snoozing. I always let her reach down to give Chris a kiss and sometimes he wakes up and sometimes he doesn't.
She is getting used to sleeping back in her crib now and in her room all the way upstairs! It seems so far but she gets good sleep in her crib. I practically sleep with the monitor! LOL
She laughs and smiles when she sees the dogs. Lucky is a little scared of her and jumps at her every move, Sofie gets a little protective when Ella crawls towards her but will lick her on the face when she is right up next to her and Mandy watches over her and lets her tug on her ears, nose and lips. Chris told Mandy to go sit next to Ella and keep an eye on her and she did just that! She walked right over to where Ella was playing and laid down next to her while Chris went into the kitchen.
August 27th marked the 1 year anniversary of my bible study group at work. A year ago about 6 of us came together on Thursdays to learn more about God's word and to lift others up in prayer. I have learned so much in this past year and I had a strong faith before but it continues to grow and strengthen by leaps and bounds. At the end of bible study, we pray for family, friends and friends of friends. We pray weekly for health, pregnancies, those who are trying to start a family, struggles, traveling mercy and we typically have a "Praise" section too which includes reports of God miracles working in our lives and the lives of those around us. I am very excited for what this next year will bring and the things I will learn. If you have any prayers that you would like added to our prayer list feel free to email me (courteney13@gmail.com) with your request. Through the power of prayer I have seen many amazing things come to pass!

Thanks for the update! It's evident that there's so much love amongst your family and friends. The first two pics of Ella and her long long lashes are absolutely beautiful.
