The park & bluebonnets...

For some reason, we have been more busy than our
normal busy...if that's even possible...LOL. Maybe it's
because the last two weekends in March I shot
weddings and one of them was in Austin or maybe
you combine that with Easter weekend...I don't know
but Chris and I haven't really even had a chance to
watch a movie together much less go to a movie. Then
Ella has been sick since Easter Sunday and that makes
for lots of worrying at least on my part. Or maybe I just
feel busier because I am a little more tired right now...
who knows but the way I try to look at it is an inactive
mind is the devil's playground or however you say that
phrase...an empty mind is the devil's workshop...Idle
hands are the Devil's workshop...all of those things.
LOL So bring it on!
A couple weeks back, Chris, Ella and I went over to
the park by our house since it was such a pretty day.
I took a couple pics of her...of course. She got to wear
some shorts for once!
Two of my most favorite people in the world!

She loves the swings! What baby/toddler doesn't though?

She's got 6 teeth coming in all at once right now so
the 4 that you see here will have neighbors shortly.

This was right before a shower the same day before
the park. I loved this hand-me-down dress so I
couldn't help but take a few pics.

Last Saturday before Ella got sick, we drove out to
Chappel Hill to take a few pics in the bluebonnets
which was beautiful but the sun was just too bright
for good pics. If there is one condition I can't stand
shooting in it's direct sun! Everyone was squinting,
had racoon eyes and the pics are just over exposed!
Excuse my photographer talk but it's disappointing
to me when I can't get the shots I want! It would have
been perfect if we could've gone an hour before
sunset! But, oh well, we still have pictures of it to
look back at and that's really all that matters.
Granny and her babies!

My favorite from the trip...

We told Ella to give Ethan a hug and this is what she does...

leans into him and puts her head on his shoulder...
Then they tell Ethan to give Ella a hug and he tries
to put his arm around her to hug her and...
oh no you didn't! LOL Looks like he is trying to
kiss her hand...

They were both clapping their hands in this pic. Blake, Chris, Leah and Granny were all singing Patty Cake behind me...can you imagine! LOL

Two quick pics of us 3...

Hope everyone has a great weekend and God Bless!
