Once again it's been a long time since my last post. But, for good reason as usual. :-) I've been busy taking lots of pictures of my babies and photography session!!! So, I have no shortage of pictures of Ella and Parker to post so let's get to postin... |
 |
We took a couple pictures before going to meet up for
Grandma and Aunt Marsha's birthday dinner.
Grandma got Parker this cute little get up. |
 |
Ella love her some Parker! She is getting better and better with him.
She loves holding his hand, loves kissing him, loves to make him
laugh and loves hearing him talk.
|
 |
I love the look on Parker's face in this picture...
"What are you laughing at?"
|
 |
| She obviously had the giggles...LOL |
 |
Each year, at least so far that we have been
at this house, we have a beautiful big bush
that blooms for only a week to two weeks out of
the whole year with these gorgeous flowers.
They light up our front yard but they go away
so quickly :-(
Ella wanted to see them so I took some pictures
of her in front of them. |
 |
| She was all smiles so I just kept snapping away... |
 |
We surprised Grandma on her actual birthday
and went over to her house to visit... |
 |
During spring break, we took a day trip to the Brenham/Sommerville
area and took Ella to the water! She LOVES the water!
I hadn't been to Sommerville since high school and didn't
remember how nice it was. It's a really pretty lake!
Other than that, we stayed home because Ella had the
chicken pox...thankfully a mild case of them. |
 |
| I get this look a lot! LOL |
 |
| Ella Bear had sand all over her! |
 |
While Ella was playing in the sand, Parker was trying to eat it.
He got a couple tastes of it before Chris noticed. Oh well, a little
dirt never hurt anyone...:-) |
 |
| See that face Parker is making...he's munching on the dirt/sand. |
 |
It was also St. Patrick's Day hence the green
clothes that Ella and Parker were wearing. |
 |
| Love this picture of Ella Bear |
 |
These next couple are my favorites of Ella and
Parker from Sommerville and a couple in a
small patch of bluebonnets on the side of the road. |
 |
kissing Parker's hand...
she does this a good 25 times
a day. :-) |
 |
| Pawpaw and Parker in the bluebonnets. |
 |
Some funny things Ella says or does lately...
She says, "Parker, you so funny!" as she
giggles to herself.
When we are about to go on our walk
in the neighborhood she says, "This
is gonna be fun!"
She asks me all the time,
"Mommy, what you doing?"
"Mommy where you going?"
"What's that, Mommy?"
Sounds so cute!
I love hearing full sentences come
out of her mouth!
She sings to us all the time
and apparently just bursts out
in melodies at Mrs. Scott's house.
Mrs. Scott said she serenades her all
the time. She know "You are my
sunshine","Sweet Pea","Sweet Sweet Baby",
"Somewhere over the rainbow/
What a wonderful world" (the newer version)
She likes for me or Daddy to read to her while
she is on the potty...hope this is not starting a bad
habit of her having to be read to when she is on the potty...LOL
Although she has been throwing some fits and has
an attitude every now and then, she still has this
amazing sweetness about her. I know she is testing
us and figuring out just how far she can go
sometimes but she still has a huge heart and
at the end of the day, we say our
prayers together and ask God to watch over our
family and friends and she tells us she loves us,
night night and see you in the morning.
I still look at her in amazement that she is
our baby girl and at how smart she is.
She is our little blessing and we love every bit of her!

 |
| This one is my all time favorite! |
 |
| Love this quote. |
 |
| Ella at around the same age as Parker...on the magic carpet. |
 |
| They both love their magic carpet. |
 |
A couple weekends ago we went over to Uncle Jimmy's to visit
him and Emma. They just happen to have an awesome
heated saltwater pool so we took a dip!
It was really nice and Parker LOVED his first
time in the pool! |
 |
This is Ella in her sun hat at around the same age...
They look a lot alike to me! |
 |
Now on to our sweet baby boy...momma's boy!
He is starting to sit up but still has the rolly polly bottom
but he started getting up on all fours over the weekend!
I told him to slow down!
He gets frustrated with his toys sometimes because
he can't get them into his mouth at that perfect angle
or he can't reach it. He is really loud!
He could wake up the neighborhood just talking!
He says "Ella" especially when she's not in the room
like he is calling her to get in the room. He says "dada"
of course! LOL Can I get a momma first? Just kidding.
He LOVES Ella! I know I've said it before but he follows her
with his eyes all over the place. She hold his hand and he
smiles, she talks and he smiles, she kisses him and he smiles.
He lights up when he sees her especially when he sees her
for the first time in the morning or after a nap.
He loves making eye contact with people.
You just talk to him and he is full of joy!
Can't remember if I put this in the last post or not
but he is sleeping most nights from 9:30 until 6:30 or so.
The only thing that seems to wake him up is when
he scoots across to the other end of his crib and hits the rails
with his head. Since we don't have the bumper in the crib anymore
he hits it and it's dark and gets frustrated that he can't go any
further.
He loves to be worn...in the sling. I have two (balboa baby
and moby wrap) and he loves both of them. I typically "wear"
him after we put Ella to bed and I still need to get some
stuff down around the house.
He just contently watches me and sucks on his thumb or
fingers. Most of the time he falls asleep
a couple minutes before I am ready to get him out to
feed him before bed.
He is more and more awesome with each passing day
and we sit back and watch in amazement as
him and Ella both learn and grow and are just so
beautiful! We thank God for them every day and
feel incredibly blessed!
I am going to do some 6 month pictures of him and
2 1/2 year pictures of Ella here pretty soon so hopefully I'll have
those next time I post. |
 |
Ella loves the water! She had to swim in her swim panties
because her old bathing suit (babin suit as she calls it)
was took small ;-) |
 |
| My baby boy! |
 |
Last Saturday after my photography session, I met my girlfriends at
Cedar Creek in the Heights. We had an awesome time as
usual and just enjoyed being together! They are such
a blessing to me in so many ways and I love each one of them
so much! We have vowed to do this once a month and I
can't wait until the next one! |
 |
After lunch with my girls, I went home and picked up
the babies from Grandma and Pawpaw and went to my cousin's
house for a get together since my cousin Meghan was in
town from Washington. Ella had a blast playing with Ethan and
Avery and seeing Granny and Poppa and the rest of the family!
Uncle Blake took them riding in the wagon and from
the look on Ella's face, she loved it! |
 |
Ethan is looking more and more like Blake when he was little!
But, I still see Leah too. |
 |
I loved this picture of Ella and Avery coloring together!
Reminded me of Meredith and I when we
were little. |
 |
And I LOVE this picture of my sweet, rambunctious little
Ethan and my baby girl! I believe they'll grow up being the best of
friends! |
Have a fabulous rest of the week and God Bless you all!
