Happy Halloween!

We had a great halloween this year.  It started with the kids
walking through the enchanted forest at school where the grades
children thoughtfully set up little stations where the kids received
special trinkets or items to put in a goodie bag.  Daddy got to enjoy
this for the first time with the babies which was pretty special.

We spent the evening hours over at Uncle Blake and Aunt Leah's
where they had lots of festive food and pizza for us!
The kids got to go trick or treating around the neighborhood
which of course they loved.  After trick or treating, I told the
kids they could pick 1 piece of candy and the rest they
could leave out that night for the sugar sprites or sugar plum fairy
to take and she would leave something special for them in return.
So, the sugar plum fairy left them an organic dark chocolate with almonds
bar, chapstick and a knitting tower.  The kids loved it and I think
the sugar plaum fairy did a good job!  And so did our kiddos!
I was so proud of them and how they gave up there candy and didn't
throw a fit.
