the little head on top for for me.
And now for some memories that Daddy wrote down
for your special day.
"I used to sing to Ella all the time when she was in mommy's tummy.
As soon as I held her for the first time and said hi Ella Bear, she
opened her eyes and looked at me with a smile.
Daddy used to pick Ella up from Mrs. Gloria's and we would sing songs all
the way home for 45 mins.
We would make up somgs like, 10 little Ella Bears and
skinamarinkydinkydink...skina marinky do Daddy loves you.
We like to use odd tunes and she loves to sing.
When she was about 3 years old, on a nice sunny day, a lizard
came to visit us to tell us there was no reason to be afraid of little critters.
He crawled up Ella's leg and then her arm and then went into her hair and
hung around for just a few minutes like a barrett. Ella didn't move and
just sat there looking at the lizard hanging from her hair.
This year Ella learned to ride her bike without training wheels.
It was very impressive, I held her neck and ran 20 paces with her
and let go and the rest is history.
She loves camping in the country...loves to knit,
play guitar and dance while daddy plays the guitar.
She has very good rhythm and do clap songs with her hands.
There are many other things I could share with you about Ella
but we would be here all day.
This is who you are at 6 years old...
you are a gentle loving little girl who
enjoys all things girlie (bows, dresses, purses, fingernail polish
and also all things outdoors.
You love getting all dirty/muddy and you love to make concoctions.
You are very independent but still like to sleep next to us and hold
our hand at night. I cherish these moments because I know one day,
you will move into your own room and I'll be begging you to come back to my bed :-)
We love you so much and look forward to this year with you!
